Transcript/Document FAQ

What is Transcripts?
A transcript is basically a record of your academic accomplishments in university. It lists every class you took, when you took them, and the grade you received in each class, sometimes along with additional information such as standardized test scores and any honors you received. Official transcript will often have a seal or tamper-proof marks on it or will be inside a sealed envelope. This is so people reading the official transcript can be certain no changes were made to it after it was released by the college/school/Boards and that the information it contains is 100% accurate.

Why need Transcript?
You might be surprised at how often you have to request copies of your transcript, both as a student and later as alumni. As a student, you might need copies if you’re applying for scholarships, internships, academic awards, transfer applications, research opportunities, summer jobs, or even upper-division classes. After you graduate, you’ll likely need copies for graduate school applications, job applications, or Permanent immigration applications. WES or Australian PR Bodies will evaluate your education through WES only.
